TAX CREDIT CHANGES
If you haven’t heard yet, there have been some changes to the Tax Credits in the 2025 Budget, subject to the approval of Budget Legislation.
Two main changes to be aware of are:
- Increase the Production Service Tax Credit basic credit from 28% to 36% for productions that start principal photography on or after January 1, 2025.
- Increase the Film Incentive BC basic credit from 35% to 40% for productions that start principal photography on or after January 1, 2025.
