Film education institutions are instrumental in helping filmmakers practice movie-making, acquainting themselves with their particular area of interest from which to launch their career in film and television.  Apprenticeships through accredited post secondary schools are available province wide and there are plans in the Okanagan to offer that same opportunity here.
