Two New and Exciting Events Coming

Elliott Douglas & Associates invite you to join us for two new and exciting events coming Friday, October 1st, 2010.
Star of CTV’s “The Bridge” and “Chief Tyrol” on Syfy’s “Battlestar Galactica”, Aaron Douglas will be coming to Kelowna to inspire and encourage actors to pursue their career. Aaron will talk about how he overcame challenges and obstacles to find success in a difficult industry.
Aaron, a graduate from KLO high school, acted in Kelowna’s Shakespeare in the Park before he moved to Vancouver to attend acting school. Since graduating from William Davis Centre for Actors, he has been in numerous TV shows and movies.

The afternoon event will focus exclusively on acting:
- breaking into the industry
- building your acting toolkit
- finding an agent
- finding acting classes or schools
Aaron will tell stories from the TV & Film sets he has worked on and share his beliefs and vision of what actors who are just starting out need to find success in a challenging industry.

Evening Event:
An Evening with Aaron Douglas & Chris Douglas
Friday, October 1, 2010 from 7:00 – 9:30 PM

Aaron will tell stories from:
- Hollywood
- his experiences on set
- his personal life
Aaron will also talk about how he learned not to personalize rejection and disappointment when he did not realize that part after an audition.
Chris Douglas will join his brother, Aaron, to facilitate the evening and explain:
- the psychology behind overcoming adversity
- principles of Aaron’s success
Chris will weave current research information on motivation and making powerful life changes throughout the evening. He will explain how his simple techniques could change the way a person operates themselves to achieve a greater success in whatever they choose to pursue.
