Reel Green B.C.

September 2, 2009, 3:25 pm

An integral initiative spearheaded by our provincial partners at BCFC who note that Reel Green BC encourages partnership with green initiatives already being implemented in the community and provides tools and information for companies and individuals wishing to become more environmentally responsible in carrying out the business of film and television production.

Already known as a green industry sector, BC’s film and television production community understands that a light footprint on our environment means a longer life for our valued resources and a longer welcome in BC communities. The production industry also understands there is more that can be done to make its activities green and Reel Green BC captures a grassroots movement within the industry to do just that.

Follow the links on the reelgreen web site, for more information on best practices by department and stay tuned to this site as new partners join the movement toward an even greener film and television industry in British Columbia.
